Latest Free-to-join Autodesk Webinars Help Media and Entertainment Users Streamline Workflows and Drive Creativity

FARNBOROUGH, UK, November XX, 2011: Autodesk, Inc. (NASDAQ: ADSK) is set to host a new series of free-to-join hour-long afternoon workshops focused on users across the media and entertainment space. Those attending will see demonstrations of Autodesk industry-leading software solutions and explanations of how they can be used to streamline production workflows and achieve creative designs and effects.  

The first of the three sessions takes place on 18 November, Autodesk in Film & TV: Ptex Workflows for Production Rendering with Autodesk Creation Suites will show attendees how Ptex allows them to streamline their production by giving them the ability to work in various texture spaces, including completely UV- and seam-free mapping environments, no matter how complex their model's topology. 

Webinar attendees will see how Ptex can help to streamline texturing and the benefits that this offers the production rendering pipeline. 

Autodesk in Games: Facial animation workflows for Games with Autodesk Creation Suites will be held on 13 January. During this one-hour webinar, attendees will discover how to add a whole new level of believability and emotion to their characters. The seminar will demonstrate how the power of Softimage's Face Robot technology can be used to efficiently set up a character to work with either motion capture data or via keyframe animation, and will look at how this data can be exported to users’ game engines. 

The final session, Autodesk in Visualisation: Streamline your 3ds Max Compositing Workflow with After Effects and Autodesk Creation Suites will take place on 20 January. This one-hour webinar will focus on cutting-edge techniques from the world of motion graphics, and will show attendees how they can utilise these in their everyday visualisation workflows. The techniques covered will focus on building efficient workflows including render pass management, file format considerations and the power of post-processing. Attendees will discover new ways to manage their rendering pipeline using 3ds Max's powerful new workflows.
