Extend Collaboration with Microsoft and DWF Technology
Simplify and extend your project teams' collaboration. Autodesk has teamed up with Microsoft to integrate DWF™ technology seamlessly with the Windows Vista® operating system using the XML Paper Specification (XPS).
Team members can open, view, print and search your 2D drawings directly within Microsoft's XPS Viewer. The XPS Viewer is automatically installed with Microsoft Windows Vista and Internet Explorer® 7 or higher, bundled with .NET 3.0 and available as an optional download for Windows® XP and 2000 users.
Additionally, DWFx files that include 3D design data, object properties and other metadata can be opened in Autodesk Design Review with full functionality.
