The Automotive Innovation Forum is an event packed full of interesting and informative sessions that will help shape the future of automotive design and manufacturing. This year we have three key themes for the event, meaning that you can take part in the sessions that really mean the most to your role. The specialist streams include:

Design studio of the future

A continuous creation pipeline, where one dataset is used throughout the creative process, can enable design studios to increase creativity, collaboration and innovation. Hear from automotive experts and Autodesk on how to lead the way into a new design paradigm with consumer experience-based design using innovative design tools.

Digital visualization of the future

Design visualization has always been important for the point of sale, and now it is being leveraged much more at the point of design. You’ll hear about the latest advancements in visualization – including improvements in speed and quality and how augmented and virtual reality (AR/VR) are establishing new collaboration techniques.

Factory of the future

What helped you design and build a factory in the past isn’t necessarily going to work in the future. The need for digital agile factory development using a connected approach across plan, program, and produce, will be critical to meet the needs of consumers. In this track you’ll hear about the benefits of the digital twin, the use of industrial additive, and smart manufacturing.

I think customers worldwide are going to adopt virtual reality technology because it gives them a better experience. It’s not a lesser experience in seeing the car because they can instantly see different variations. What if it’s red, what if it has a hood scoop, what if I have this extra component that’s an add-on. Big value for the customer, and the supplier.
