| What is the difference between AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT? |
One of the biggest differences between AutoCAD and AutoCAD LT is that AutoCAD LT provides precision two-dimensional (2D) drafting and documentation capabilities, whereas AutoCAD also provides three-dimensional (3D) functionalities. AutoCAD LT enables you to do simple customisations but does not support built-in programming capabilities (AutoLISP). | Can I use AutoCAD LT on Mac and Windows with a stand-alone licence? |
Yes, you can use AutoCAD LT on both Mac and Windows if you are on an AutoCAD LT subscription. You can use the same subscription username and password to activate your software on either Windows or Mac platforms. The version years must match and you need to download and install the correct software for your operating system. (If you download a free trial of AutoCAD LT and want try it on both platforms, you need to sign up for 2 trials, one for Windows and one for Mac. You can choose to download and try each version simultaneously or one after the other.)
| Does AutoCAD LT come with the AutoCAD web and mobile apps? |

| How do I convert my AutoCAD LT free trial to a paid subscription? |

| Can I have multiple users on one AutoCAD LT subscription? |
Subscriptions sold online are single-user access — a single user can access, activate and use each subscription seat. Users cannot share a seat, but you can purchase additional stand-alone licences and then assign those seats to different users.
| Can I install AutoCAD LT on multiple computers? |
With a subscription to AutoCAD LT software, you can install it on up to three computers or other devices. However, only the named user can sign in and use that software on a single computer at any given time. Please refer to the Subscription Terms of Use (US site) for more information.
| How do I stop auto-renewal or cancel my subscription? |
Sign in to manage.autodesk.com, select Billing Orders, click Edit Payment and turn off auto-renew. Your subscription details will then list an expiry date instead of a renewal date. Your subscription remains active until the expiry date.

Trade in Perpetual Licence Offer
Customers can save 25% on the Autodesk Suggested Retail Price (SRP) for industry collections or most individual products when they purchase eligible 1-year or 3-year term subscriptions with single-user access and trade in qualifying serial numbers and all associated seats of release 1998 – 2020 perpetual licences not on an active maintenance plan (any attached maintenance plan must have expired on or before 31 January 2020 for the perpetual licence to be eligible for this offer). A valid, eligible serial number for each corresponding perpetual licence traded in must be submitted for this promotion.
Autodesk LT Family Product licenses are eligible to be submitted for AutoCAD LT Family and AutoCAD Product licenses only. The customer agrees to discontinue use of these submitted perpetual licenses.
